Your own domain makes links branded (e.g. link.yoursite.com) — it looks more trustworthy and boosts click-through.
In the Settings section add the domain, confirm ownership with a DNS record and wait for the reputation check. All domains are managed from one page.
Until a domain is connected and verified you cannot create links on it — so all short links live on your verified domains.
